regulation (R.61-25) has been revised and modified to align more closely with
the 2013 FDA model food code:Full implementation of the "PIC" is mandated in SC by June 27, 2016
Avoid a critical violation and a 2-point deduction by making sure you have a PIC who is properly Certified in Food Safety.
Per 2013 Food Code; A "PIC" becomes certified upon successful completion of a National Accredited
Food Protection Mangers Certification class and exam.
